Coryanthes alborosea ‘Purple Bat’ x sib (Dark butterfly)

Here is a very impressive and truly spectacular Coryanthes species. I find Coryanthes absolutely fascinating and this is a sibing of two truly exceptional plants of the species. This species remains fairly compact maxing out with leaves that reach around 12-15” and a well established plant can thrive in a 4” basket. This species is incredibly vigorous, almost always in active growth and flowers from mid-Summer through fall. Once these begin to flower they are literally in some stage of bud or bloom through the entire flowering season and can easily bloom 4-5 (possibly more) times per year, always holding two blooms. The flowers are large, have stunning coloration and are highly fragrant. This has been one of the most vigorous species I have ever cultivated from flask and are guaranteed to be exceptional. Plants are very well established in either 2" or 3" pots with multiple growths.
