This is an incredible and very rare species in the Catasetum alliance that comes from Panama. This species blooms toward the late winter early spring on typically leafless bulbs. The plants usually bloom with several spikes (up to 4 per bulb) that are long lasting and have a very nice lemon fragrance. The species is highly floriferous and often flowers with multiple spikes simultaneously holding dozens of flowers each. The blooms are large for species of Clowesii and are lime green with a red dot in the throat and have a frilled lip. I have several clones of this species and the two used in breeding are the best. Both flower with excellent shape, size and color. This species is very vigorous and flowers all the way into late February/Early March.

The flask up for auction is packed with 20-25+ great plantlets that are ready to be potted out. This is an exceptional flask of the species. The plantlets are healthy and will thrive from this point. Very limited at this point.

The images above represent the exact parents used in breeding and a flask similar to what you will receive. Only the best flasks will be selected!

All plants will be shipped out of flask in a protective container and are guaranteed safe arrival.
