Bulbophyllum schinzianum ‘Rogue’s Africa’ x self

Here are seedlings of this very rare and truly magnificent species from West Africa. It took me many years to locate a plant of this species and it has been a true pleasure to cultivate. The plants are very easy to cultivate and can take long dry periods in the Winter. The flower spikes are just incredible standing at 18-20” tall and blooming sequentially for several months, a few flowers at a time. The flowers are very wild with fuzzy wiggling lips and spotted petals. Truly one of the most challenging flowers I have ever pollinated but well worth the effort. These plants have matured very well in flask and should be exceptional.
